On March 17, the award ceremony for the first edition of the Sport for Nature Awards 2022 was held in Milan; the project celebrates “sport with a green soul”, and aims to enhance athletes, organizations and companies who are attentive to the issues of environmental and social sustainability, making sport an information and awareness tool.
Nominated in the category Azienda per il sociale (“Company for social initiatives”), IBSA received this important recognition for its support for inclusive sailing initiatives, the first of which was launched in collaboration with the Yacht Club of Punta Ala (Grosseto).
Sailing into the Future. Together is in fact the project by IBSA that transcends sporting boundaries, and aims to contribute to the social integration of people with disabilities through sailing as a means for inclusion.
